2. Data processed

The form requests a full name, email address, project location and type, a description or message, and acceptance of this policy. The company or developer field is optional. Technical data, such as an IP address and browser information, may be processed for security and operation. To limit repeated submissions, the system retains for 15 minutes counters linked to protected hashes of the originating address and email; those values are not stored in plain text in the counters.

3. Purposes and legal basis

Data is used to receive, assess and respond to the enquiry; perform an initial project review; maintain the requested communications; identify and coordinate, where appropriate, a potentially suitable construction company; and protect the website against abusive use. The legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps at the data subject’s request, consent where applicable, and the legitimate interest in securing the service and handling the communication.

4. Recipients

Data may be processed by technical and professional providers needed to provide and protect the service. Where necessary to assess a project or prepare a proposal, data may be shared with a potential construction company or qualified professionals involved in the assessment, subject to the appropriate confidentiality and legal basis.
